Customers Bank has secured a $400,000 Affordable Housing Program grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to build affordable housing for families in Philadelphia’s Point Breeze neighborhood. The planned Mamie Nichols Townhomes complex is sponsored by the Women’s Community Revitalization Project. Once completed, it will feature 32 townhome and apartment units on a former vacant lot in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia.
