Release: Women’s Community Revitalization Project a National Finalist for $500,000 Grant
Women's Community Revitalization Project is a national finalist for a grant of up to $500,000 by ArtPlace America. If awarded, WCRP will use the funds to work with artists to help solve community development challenges in the city’s Point Breeze and Gray’s Ferry neighborhoods.

Release: WCRP Executive Director Wins Social Innovator in Community Development Award
Nora Lichtash received first place from the Philadelphia Social Innovations Journal following 300 nominations and over 3,500 votes cast by citywide residents. The award “honors the region’s most passionate social innovators” across a range of fields who are working to make “Greater Philadelphia a more inclusive, equitable and thriving region of innovation and opportunity for all of its residents.”

Release: GSK celebrates 20 years of IMPACT Awards to nonprofits that make Philadelphia healthier
GSK today announced the GSK IMPACT Award Winners in a ceremony at GSK’s Navy Yard site. Ten local nonprofits earned $40,000 each in recognition of their outstanding contributions to a healthier Philadelphia region. This is the 20th anniversary of GSK’s awards program, which has honored and supported hundreds of nonprofits that improve the lives of Philadelphians every day.
